Hi! I'm Holton Welch Stokes and I am a surface designer and portrait artist based in Eastern North Carolina. I’m inspired by all things vintage, floral, and anything that is sentimental.
I work across multiple mediums- digital illustration, acrylic, watercolor, ink, and graphite. My work is rooted in a sense of nostalgia, delicacy, and feminine charm. Whether I'm capturing a memory in a portrait or creating a pattern meant to live on fabric or paper, my goal is always the same: to create something meaningful, timeless, and endearing.
Outside of the studio, I enjoy collecting tiny trinkets, watching cozy movies and reality television, spending time with my two doodles and cat, and making memories with my two nephews (the absolute apples of my eyes).
