Hi! I'm Holton Welch Stokes and I am a surface designer and portrait artist based in Eastern North Carolina. I’m inspired by all things vintage, floral, and anything that is sentimental.
I work across multiple mediums- digital illustration, acrylic, watercolor, ink, and graphite. My work is rooted in a sense of nostalgia, delicacy, and feminine charm. Whether I'm capturing a memory in a portrait or creating a pattern meant to live on fabric or paper, my goal is always the same: to create something meaningful, timeless, and endearing.
Outside of the studio, I enjoy collecting tiny trinkets, watching movies and reality television, spending time with my two doodles and cat, and making memories with my two nephews (the absolute apples of my eyes).
